Experience

Koushungama

●Overview: Lecture on Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki pottery, tour of the studio, experience the Ichikun technique ●Duration: 1.5h He uses the plump "icchin" technique to create vessels that are fun to look at and fun to use. Ichikin" is a method of painting by dissolving clay into a paste with water, placing it in a bag, and squeezing it out like a cake decoration. It has a three-dimensional effect that cannot be achieved by painting with a brush and produces a unique hand-feel. The "white" uniqueness that does not rely on the various colors of the kojiki glaze is a particular passion of Shinichi Takashima, the third generation of Takashima.
